Short pieces of 1.75mm printer filament should be used as hinge pins to hang the cage from the rods and attach the bottom of the cage to the top of the cage; these can be permanently fixed in place by melting the ends of the filament hinge pins slightly. Another small piece of filament can be used to lock a model inside.
